PJS DEDICATED TO SAFE T Y A PROACTIVE PREDICTIVE APPROACH INDEPENDENT SAFETY EXPERTISE At PJS safety comes first Always It is at the core of our decision making on every level Our team of industry veterans and dedicated Director of Safety manage PJS standards for due diligence with stringent safety mechanisms that require an absolute commitment to detail We know by proactively discerning the best available carriers and pilots we provide safer and more consistent travel experiences for our clients As aviation industry experts we know that compliance with civil aviation authorities is only one part of an operator or pilot s history our detailed inspections go far beyond industry minimum requirements Only 10 of airlines meet PJS strict standards that include data driven non negotiable markers for clean operating history aircraft age liability insurance levels and service reliability Every carrier every aircraft every pilot every flight every contingency by proactively focusing on the details we minimize the risk of the unexpected PROFESSIONALISM Operator eligibility to fly for PJS is determined by our dedicated Safety Team through a comprehensive step by step qualification process as well as field inspections interviews references and FOIA background checks All aircraft and pilots are pre vetted using PJS stringent requirements with real time data backed by third party reporting With the help of the PJS proprietary vendor management software eligibility is then independently re confirmed prior to every flight to ensure previously approved vendors and crew still meet all PJS eligibility requirements for maintaining a clean operating history As well PJS tracks that approved vendors maintain exceptional service performance levels PJS maintains the advantage of acting independently Instead of being obliged to generate flight hours on a closed fleet of aircraft such as the case with fractional airlines PJS can opt to select only the operators aircraft and pilots that meet our stringent qualification and retention criteria for safety and service Our fleet network design allows us to mandate far higher quality standards for crew experience aircraft age and operator performance as well as leveraging bulk purchasing advantages across a wide inventory of aircraft Using FAA background checks that include both operating and maintenance records PJS confirms that our approved vendors and pilots maintain operating histories With no more than 3 Letters of Correction or Warning Letters issued by the FAA within the last 5 years Free of incidents within the last 5 years Free of FAA NAA or DOT sanctions of fines suspensions or revocations within the last 10 years Thorough proactive research and performance tracking help PJS anticipate potential risks Qualitative and quantitative checks are complemented with data from the DOT and NTSB as well as independent thirdparty information agencies including the Flight Safety Foundation Wyvern LTD the Air Charter Safety Foundation ACSF Aviation Research Group ARGUS the International Business Aviation Council IBAC and the National Business Aviation Association NBAA to potential delays and worse fatigued pilots Rather PJS seeks out like minded vendors that ensure their crews are both well rested and well prepared to help thereby reducing safety risks while also minimizing departure delays caused by crew duty time issues Additional PJS professionalism requirements include that vendors and their senior executives maintain positive compliance and business positions free from criminal or civil legal actions and IRS violations DEDICATED DIRECTOR OF SAFETY EXACTING REQUIREMENTS FOR SAFETY Exacting pilot experience requirements constitute the most valuable safety tool PJS employs Unlike closed fleet charter or fractional providers PJS is not beholden to any specific aircraft or pilots so we have the luxury of being extraordinarily selective Pilots with more experience and clean operating histories demand higher salaries which make them a very real expense for providers an area that is susceptible to cost cutting within airlines of every size The PJS Safety Department is led by industry veteran Monique Albert responsible for furthering PJS s position as a leader in aviation safety Through her research and efforts in continually developing the proprietary PJS safety standard PJS clients are assured technical excellence and strong safety culture from all vendors that qualify to fly for PJS In 2016 Albert was appointed to the Safety Committee of the National Business Aviation Association NBAA to assist in the organization s mission to serve as a center of expertise and enhancing safety within our nation s transportation system Crew duty violations are an excessively common reason for FAA sanctions which is why monitoring historical operator and pilot background is a key pillar of the PJS safety program Operators or pilots with repeated poor decision making events resulting in being sanctioned by the FAA are not eligible to fly for PJS T H E PJ S D E D I C AT E D As such a significant benefit of the PJS safety program is avoiding vendors that overload their schedules Fractional pilots are subject to a different set of FAA regulations for crew duty time which means they might fly 2 or 3 different passenger groups on the same day and work up to 7 days back to back without a break Stacking trips too close together leads A P P R OAC H TO YO U R S A F E T Y T E A M TA K E S A P R OAC T I V E A N D P R E D I C T I V E R AT H E R T H A N R E
